250 Watt / 8” Two-Way 8 ohms commercial model rated best in overall high fidelity performance. For use in theme parks and where large wide area's of sound coverage is needed.
All Stereostone outdoor weatherproof loudspeakers have improved performance and reliability. By using Ferrofluid Technology in the motor assembly of all loudspeaker drivers, (both Woofers and Tweeters) eliminating the possibility of any moisture, rust or corrosion developing in the Voice Coil Gap. Ferrofluid is a magnetic liquid material which is held in the gap of the motor by the loudspeaker magnet. This liquid displaces the air in the gap and is capable of is dissipating five times more heat developed by the Voice Coil than without of the Ferrofluid.
The use of this technology not only increases the thermal power handling of the loudspeaker, but also improves damping, accurate Voice Coil centering and most important for music lovers reduced distortion.
